Deal-Seaking Tuesday

Tuesdays have turned into quite the busy day for me. Generally on Monday I spend the day catching up from the weekends, laundry, cleaning, resting, and my favorite going through the Sunday adds and coupons! (Silly I know...but wait till you see what I scored) I have been stocking up for the last month or so and now I am able to only buy something if it is a really great deal. Today I went to target and got my hubby a new razor and manly body wash. The deal was buy those two items get a $5

gift card. I had a $4 coupon for the razor and a $1 for the wash. I spent 6.48 out of pocket but I got a $5 gift card!!! So each item would be about .75...a steal I'd say. I get two copies of the Sunday coupons because my nan is fabulous and mails me her set so you know I will be repeating this little deal this week!

After my quick trip to Target I headed to CVS for some yummy SOYJOY bars. The deal is buy 4 get $4 in Extra Care bucks. A few weeks back the Sunday coupons had two coupons, a buy one get one free and a buy 10 get $2 off. I had two of each coupon and bought 20 bars. I also had $4 in Extra Care bucks from last weeks deals. I spent $8.82 out of pocket and I get $20 back in Extra Care bucks...oh yes...that is a great deal. Not to mention the SOYJOY bars are sooo good, my favorite is the mango coconut.

The next stop was Walgreens...I have a lot of time on my hands to kill while Andy is in pre-school....Well the deal here was buy any 2 Nabisco treats get $1 off milk. I bought two boxes of Cakesters (a good treat in the go for the kiddies) and two milks. Of course I had two $1 off coupons from the Sunday paper and the real kicker was I had a $8 Register reward from last weeks deals (which were good deals too...lets say lots of fresh Sweet Tea will be made this summer!) So anyhow when I went to pay I had to spend over $8 so I threw in some Red Vines for mommy and my grand total was....0.38 out of pocket.....and I got another $3 register rewards....hhhmmmm
